Question   The Gift
Oh I see you have the gift of art photography, that magic way of seeing and transfering the energy of brain, spirit and love...nice to experience. I write books and have been researching local and U.S. photographers. I'd like to keep in touch if that's ok. How much do you charge for a photo if it would go into a book? I'm going to market locally first so it could be a small project. Let me know. I'd love some Snoqualmie Valley wildlife, waterfalls and raptors in flight.

Thanks for sharing your work with me.
All the best.

I have to take the long way to get to the meadow this year with Cayuse pass still closed. Its too bad as it is one of the beautiful scenic drives I know of.

Question   OUT THERE
LONG STRANGE TRIP.........
HOPE YOU POST A POLYPORE SET
SEE YOU INNA WOODS

-  May 11, 2007

Answer WELL I GUESS YOU HAVE A START ON ONE. WE'LL GET MORE.....

-  May 11, 2007

Answer Still got a lot of photos to sort and post. I will definitely add more polypore/fungus pics.
Tokina makes a 10-17mm lens that will also work on the full frame 5D (which would be really wide). The 1.6 crop on the 20D is nice for long lenses but you lose with the wide angle lenses. The pics I've seen from some of the Tokina lenses have very nice contrast & coloration.
Fred Miranda has a velvia plugin for CS2 that I may have to download and try out.
See you at the meadow.

Question   Sick Photos!!
This is great Carlton- the website looks fantastic and your photos are breathtaking! Is there a way to order a print or a framed print? You should think about that. I would order one for my dad's birthday if so.

-  May 10, 2007

  Answer Hello Stacey,
Thank you very much.
Yes, as soon as I get the printer I want, I will be attaching a paypal button on this site so people can order direct from me. I can print up to 8 x 10 with my current printer but with the new printer, I will be able to print up to 13 x 19 inch prints. I still have some other things to get set up before I am ready to start selling. I still have lots more photos to get posted as well.

Question   New site
Way to go, Carlton! Nice site. I had a difficult time finding it though. When I'd do a search, I'd get sites for Carlton Ward, Jr. I finally typed in your web address on the address line. I always enjoy your pics.

-  May 10, 2007

  Answer Carlton,

These are awesome and I highly enjoyed them. Two comments: one, do you have any black and whites to post, and two, is there a way to go to the next category without having to go back to the gallery i.e. if you're in critters can you click from there into feathered friends? Just a thought.

Much love and success!
E$

-  May 10, 2007

Answer Love the pics. Same question about going on to the next category w/out backing up!! Awesome to look at though!!!

-  May 10, 2007

Answer I believe you need to click on Gallery again to move to a different one. I will see if I can incorporate a Gallery menu in each gallery as you are in them.
I do have a few B & W's and will post them as I get to them.

Thank you Everyone for the wonderful comments. I have many more to post so please check back every so often.
